HELLO, I'm back. The packaging of these chocolates so cute. haha. Got them from my cousin's goodie bag. Photos by phone camera with this cool app.

Another treat, went out for dinner on friday. My parents are awesome, it was a treat because it was a reward for getting best photograph in the straits times competition and cause my sibling did well. A tad too expected, no feeling whatsoever. For the competition results i mean. haha. Overall we still got consolation, a bit better than last year still i guess. These 2 are the products of success after many failed attempts, still have so much to learn. The photos my dad took were much more mouth watering, haha

I know I have disappeared for a very long while, so yeah i am back. I know my blog has become very emo, so this post is all about pictures, flood.=) What I have been up to this past 2/3 months.
National Day holiday, I had to wake up early but really enjoyed nature.

I never knew nature was so close to my school, walked around punggol river to try to capture a winning a shot for Nat Geo competition.

Canon photomarathon was the day after. The themes were clarity, faith and charge. Fun day, forgot everything due to that. I learn a lot too.

a new blog name

Changed my blogspot url. The previous had loads of meaning to it and I was actually being a little of a copycat. Hahaha. However I never really like that name so I decided to change it. This blog will still be a place where dreams will refresh. Why I chose this name? Well,when we were new to world of photography everything around us seemed nice and we will just snap away like crazy people. Hence, photo crazy, crazy for that shot. People also get crazy when they see that winning shot, cause every setting must be right and there is only one chance. So, i know i am very random but this is for fun. hahaha. I have discovered the wonders of photoshop, it is so cool yet complicated. I better master it fast if not I'll let the whole cca down, okay so random again. I show you my creation soon maybe haha. That is all for the 1st post in this new url.=)
(I know i use 'haha' a lot, i guess it is just something to replace those words i can't find=))

Running away

Running away. Isn't it so simple just to say, oh I am going to run away from this or that? Unknowingly we do it all the time. Be it a tough situation, an awkward situation or whatever, what is our first instinct? Yeah, that is right it is to run away..... I am sure running away from home has been in your head at least once or else running away to escape the harsh realities of life. Nobody is ever completely satisfied with where they are or the people they are with. The grass is always greener on the other side and life will always seem to suck. You can already guess by now that I too want or wanted to run away form all this and leave for some far, far away place where no one knows me. Maybe then I can start life on better track. However, I have come to the conclusion that running away is not going to help make anything get better. Instead it is going to make things worse. You are never ever going to find the courage to face up to your fears and you are just going to make you parents worry. I guess God has a purpose far greater than what we can see whenever He places us in situations. Your parents may not be as understanding as you think, your siblings may not be as easy to get along but wait they are still family, they still love you. They are the only ones that you can rely on once the whole world deserts you. There are many other escape routes, but you ultimately still have to face reality. Listening to music, is one of the many not including you know what. I like to enter many different realms that help me concentrate on that and not my problems, photography is one. Let’s escape into the world of pictures for now. The pictures below were taken with my dad’s awesome camera and his new prime lens. Don’t ask me what that is, I forgot. One ear in, and the other ear out. Haha. Google it if you really want to know. =) The pictures are of a present I got from a friend whom I met up with after six months.

Eventful last two weeks

This is going to be my last post until I don't know when, so I am going to make it very very very long. Unless I find the will to post wait no if I can even get to Marina Barrage. Haha, I don't think that will happen. Last week I was at Malaysia for an awesome youth camp where I didn't take much. Oh yeah, my camera gave me quite a scare on friday, just shows how much I know about my camera.=( Guess where I was at on Sunday? It was my cousin's birthday so we were at the chalet in downtown east. And yesterday I was at the Singapore River for dinner cause my mum had friends from overseas. Finally know how to take night shots, but I need a tripod. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
