a new blog name

Changed my blogspot url. The previous had loads of meaning to it and I was actually being a little of a copycat. Hahaha. However I never really like that name so I decided to change it. This blog will still be a place where dreams will refresh. Why I chose this name? Well,when we were new to world of photography everything around us seemed nice and we will just snap away like crazy people. Hence, photo crazy, crazy for that shot. People also get crazy when they see that winning shot, cause every setting must be right and there is only one chance. So, i know i am very random but this is for fun. hahaha. I have discovered the wonders of photoshop, it is so cool yet complicated. I better master it fast if not I'll let the whole cca down, okay so random again. I show you my creation soon maybe haha. That is all for the 1st post in this new url.=)
(I know i use 'haha' a lot, i guess it is just something to replace those words i can't find=))

Running away

Running away. Isn't it so simple just to say, oh I am going to run away from this or that? Unknowingly we do it all the time. Be it a tough situation, an awkward situation or whatever, what is our first instinct? Yeah, that is right it is to run away..... I am sure running away from home has been in your head at least once or else running away to escape the harsh realities of life. Nobody is ever completely satisfied with where they are or the people they are with. The grass is always greener on the other side and life will always seem to suck. You can already guess by now that I too want or wanted to run away form all this and leave for some far, far away place where no one knows me. Maybe then I can start life on better track. However, I have come to the conclusion that running away is not going to help make anything get better. Instead it is going to make things worse. You are never ever going to find the courage to face up to your fears and you are just going to make you parents worry. I guess God has a purpose far greater than what we can see whenever He places us in situations. Your parents may not be as understanding as you think, your siblings may not be as easy to get along but wait they are still family, they still love you. They are the only ones that you can rely on once the whole world deserts you. There are many other escape routes, but you ultimately still have to face reality. Listening to music, is one of the many not including you know what. I like to enter many different realms that help me concentrate on that and not my problems, photography is one. Let’s escape into the world of pictures for now. The pictures below were taken with my dad’s awesome camera and his new prime lens. Don’t ask me what that is, I forgot. One ear in, and the other ear out. Haha. Google it if you really want to know. =) The pictures are of a present I got from a friend whom I met up with after six months.

Eventful last two weeks

This is going to be my last post until I don't know when, so I am going to make it very very very long. Unless I find the will to post wait no if I can even get to Marina Barrage. Haha, I don't think that will happen. Last week I was at Malaysia for an awesome youth camp where I didn't take much. Oh yeah, my camera gave me quite a scare on friday, just shows how much I know about my camera.=( Guess where I was at on Sunday? It was my cousin's birthday so we were at the chalet in downtown east. And yesterday I was at the Singapore River for dinner cause my mum had friends from overseas. Finally know how to take night shots, but I need a tripod. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Wonderful day

You will never ever guess where i went to today, it was Sengkang. Met up with Amabel and Sister yoke leng. Amabel is my ex-church mate and best friend and sister yoke leng is my ex-sunday school teacher. Haven't seen them since last year September, that was long long time ago. Had a nice chit chat with them and got to see Sis yoke leng's humble house. Hope to meet up more.=)
(was requested and shan't post long cause it is late. oh by the way i forgot to thank all those people for their advise. Thank you.=) i know i spelled it wrongly in the tag box, haha. Also this is to make up for next week, cause i'll be away. haha)

happy birthday levin

I told myself that i will at least update this blog once a week, so here is this week's post. Last Saturday was my cousin's birthday and my aunt bought this amazing cake. My aunt never fails to buy a unique a cake, last year we even had a cake in the shape of a football. The pictures are terrible but i just wanted to show you the cake.

I shall just put 2 pictures for now maybe next time I will put more.

So.......

How many times have you been asked to smile? Yeah life sucks, but I don't have kids, I don't have to pay taxes, I don't have a house. So why is it so hard to smile? Frowning all the time, doesn't only make yourself miserable but others too, I kind of figured that out. But I just don't know why I don't smile, I also didn't know it had an effect on you. But you don't expect me to walk around smiling like a lunatic or wear a fake smile wherever i go right? 'Nobody cares if you are miserable, so you might as well be happy.'- Cythina Nelms. It is true, who likes miserable people who only make their life miserable. I know everyone has their fair share of problems, of worries, I am not the only one in the world. Yes, yes. Come on give me a break, let me off. Smiling too much is also a problem you know. I hide my emotions well and I didn't know my emotionless face equals to a frown is all I can say. Is this a good enough reason for you? I can only promise to try to look at the brighter side of life from now on. I trying, honestly I am. Give me a bit more time. I will be the most cheerful person you have ever seen. For now, I will just wear my plastic smile.=)

Don't lose hope, don't feel down, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

As requested

I am back again and you can guess why from the the title. Nope, I don't have any new pictures to post. My camera has rusted and am too lazy to get and upload the pictures from sports day. How about this, let me introduce you to a game. Maybe some of you heard this game before, it is called questions only, if you don't ask a question you are out. Yesterday lesson was hilarious, laughed a lot while playing this. It goes like that:
a: "How are you?"
b: "I'm fine, how are you?"
a: "Can we change topics?"
b: "What do you want to talk about?"
a: "We should talk about photography, don't you think so?"
Lame right? Haha, but we couldn't stop. Tried it today with my b-f, but kind of failed. Haha. Okay, see I entertained you, happy? Lols
Something to think about(something really random): how do you piece together a million broken glass pieces? Is it really impossible?
